What we take
What we pick up from a laboratory.
Sharps
Needles and holders from phlebotomy, plus slides, capillary tubes and anything else at the bench that can puncture a bag. A lab fills these faster than a clinic does, so the containers are sized for it.
Red bag waste
Used specimen tubes, culture plates, pipette tips and the soft regulated waste from processing. Bags supplied with the program, in bench and floor sizes.
Boxed medical waste
The box everything travels in. It is the only line on your invoice, and a lab usually fills more of them than the practices it draws for.

We also shred paper records.
Requisitions, printed results and anything else carrying a patient's name has to be destroyed rather than thrown out. We pick up paper records and shred them too. Ask when you request a quote.
