What we pick up from a nursing home.
Sharps
Insulin needles and lancets, a few per resident per day, which adds up faster than most facilities expect. Containers on the med carts and in the med room, not only at a central point.
Red bag waste
Dressings, gloves and the soft regulated waste from wound care and treatments. Bags supplied where care is given, which in a nursing home means the halls as well as the clinical rooms.
